For most commercial food shoots, a food stylist makes a significant difference to the final result. I can arrange an experienced food stylist as part of your shoot — this is discussed and costed during pre-production. For simpler shoots with straightforward plating, styling can sometimes be handled on set without a dedicated stylist. I'll advise honestly based on your specific project.

Can you shoot food photography at my restaurant in Brighton or Sussex?

Yes. On-location food shoots at restaurants, cafés, pop-ups and food businesses across Brighton, Sussex and beyond are something I do regularly. Shooting in your actual space adds authenticity and can work beautifully for menus, social media and PR. I'll assess the natural light and space in advance to make sure the shoot runs smoothly.

What should I prepare before a food photography shoot?

The more prepared the food is on arrival, the better — freshness matters enormously. We'll agree a shot list in advance so your kitchen team knows exactly what's needed and in what order. I'll handle the styling, lighting and composition. For complex shoots, a pre-production call with your chef is often worthwhile.
